Activision Blizzard has confirmed that Infinity Ward will be the team behind Call of Duty 6.

Bosses Mike Griffith and Robert Kotick both mentioned dates in their presentations, and reports are split on whether the game will release in 2009 or 2010.

This follows the expected alternating series pattern with Treyarch, which will develop Call of Duty: World at War, due out in November.

I’m hoping that Infinity Ward will bring the Call Of Duty series out of the World War Two theme, again.
